  • Good cowash

Posted by Nora Brown on 3rd Oct 2020

I normally do not use cowash but since I am using more henna I decided to purchase a cowash instead of using a shampoo. This cowash is great. It helps to loosen the henna or whatever Ayurvedic herbs I use with ease. And the scent is not overwhelming.

I don’t know if the orange scented products are for me. I have found the orange smell overwhelming. On the other hand, I did already used the whole bottle of this. I still can’t really gauge attributes I liked about it. I used it to help remove products from my hair but they still didn’t remove easily. I used some Aussie moist I had lying around to tone the smell down and finish w the removal... Jury is still out. I ordered the clary sage scent to see if I like that better.

  • Cowash

Very cleansing yet moisturizing. I used after I pre-pooed my hair using a mix of cocoa butter, coconut oil and a forest essential oil blend. My hair is softer and fuller. I have hair similar to Indian hair, very thick and very coarse; straight texture. This product is great. Just follow the instructions on the bottle. Smells identical to the dr.bronners citrus rinse. Unfortunately, that product is out of stock due to covid, or else I would recommend purchasing that to use after cowashing with this henna sooq cowash in order to help seal in the hair.

  • YES!

Oh my gosh. I am so impressed with this product! I had not used a CoWash before but I have already ordered another bottle in the Rosemary Scent. This gave me so much ease washing out henna and indigo. My hair felt so soft and moisturized afterwords and detangling was a breeze! My hair is straight caucasian pretty thick and knee length. Since I have so much hair this bottle only lasted me 4 washes but I think its totally worth it. One of the most tedious parts of hair masks is fully rinsing it out and this just cut down the time by so much! The smell is wonderful! I love citrus however it is a pretty strong scent so if youre particularly sensitive to scents keep that in mind! Thank you Henna Sooq for your quality products and true passion for your craft!

I have used cowashes before that left my hair oily and heavy but not this! My hair is soft, light, and clean. I look forward to how this works long term but for a first wash this is amazing!
