Ingredients
Moroccan Rose Mud Mask: distilled water, rhassoul clay, rose damask flowers, argania spinosa (argan) oil, optiphen (preservative)
How To
Make sure hair strands are damp before applying mud mask. Use a small scoopful at a time and apply evenly throughout hair and scalp. Gentle massage and allow to stay in hair for 10-15 minutes. Gently wash out with our cleansing restorative CoWash. Optional, use one of our deep conditioners on hair after use for added moisture. Moisturize, dry and style as usual. Use as a weekly detoxifying treatment or as needed. Based on your hair type and needs, you may only need to detoxify your scalp and hair every 3-4 weeks. Avoid contact with eyes. External use only. Use within 6-12 months. Note this particular mask is slightly exfoliating and has finely crushed moroccan rose petals in it.

Surprisingly lovely mask but like it better on my skin vs hair. I find it drying on my hair even when using conditioner.
I was hoping I could try this messy clay masque and prove it was not worth my time, but I was wrong. It smelled like a room filled with 99 dozen roses. I let it sit in my hair under a plastic cap and warm hair wrap for a couple of hours then rinsed it out with the co-wash and deep masque conditioner as usual. I applied my leave-in and oils and put my hair in a single braid to dry overnight. When I took the braid out in the morning and ran a comb thru my hair to style I was so surprised that the waves did not comb out or puff out. The natural hair waves just kept coming back no matter how many times I combed thru and no tingles. I will definitely purchase this product again and use it on special hair wash days when I have time to clean up the mess, because it is worth it. I is also so awesome to know that I am applying clay from the Moroccan Alpines to my hair, although my feet have never touched that ground before.
HS Reply: So happy to hear!! We struggled a little in this masks development and this feedback really let's us know, that we're glad we didn't give up on it. Enjoy! Wish we could see pictures of your results!
Roses are anti-inflammatory, high in vitamin c, and lock in moisture which is why I was excited to try Henna Sooq Moroccan Rose Mud Mask first as a face mask. Well, I love the results! I had an acne breakout and needed something asap. The next day I noticed the acne size was smaller, redness gone, and my skin was silky smooth from the gentle exfoliation from the rose petals. I also like that argan oil was used and not a heavier oil. This mask is definitely a keeper! I’m going to try a hair mask soon but I will do the mermaid bath to easily get out the the little pieces. Enjoy, I did!
