After the third time of using henna and indigo, my curls were starting to loosen and I was losing a lot of volume. I tried this mask for the first time and while it did bring back some curl definition and I do love the ingredients, the mask itself is very runny/watery. It’s like muddy tea. The 2 hour wait time with the mask on my head was very uncomfortable because the mask kept dripping down my face and neck. I tied three shopping bags around my head and put a satin cap on top in hopes to stop the mask for dripping all over me but that didn’t help much. I was expecting more of a hair mask consistency like it shows in the description. So for that reason I took away one star as it was disappointing, but I am happy with my results.
Edit: Yes Khadija is correct. If you purchase this mask make sure you buy extra powder to mix into it. This mixture alone is not enough to be used as a mask. I was unprepared. Usually if a mask is more on the runny side, trapping it in with a bag will do the trick but it was not enough with this mixture.
