Ingredients
Jamila Henna: lawsonia inermis (henna)
How To
Henna hair dyeing treatments should be repeated every 4-6 weeks or root touch ups as needed in between colorings. Henna can be used to create a gloss or conditioning mask treatment that can be done every 2-3 weeks. Henna might loosen your curl pattern, should this apply. You can add amla or zizyphus powder as treatments to enhance and maintain curls and volume. We highly recommend that aloe vera powder is added or one of our hair oils to your henna recipe for added moisture as henna can be drying without. Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after. Henna can also loosen the curl pattern. Be sure to use amla or zizyphus powders or masks to maintain curl pattern.
Directions: Mix henna with warm to hot distilled water and allow to sit 3-4 hours for dye release. Prewash your hair with one of our hair washes or shampoo bars. Apply onto damp hair strands and allow to remain in your hair for 3-4 hours for a full color treatment and to cover grey hairs. When doing a henna hair strengthening mask leave in hair 1-2 hours. Use a heat cap if you would like to cut the time it stays in your hair in half. Rinse out with our cleansing cowash then moisturize, dry and style as usual for best results.
Storage: We recommend you store henna in a cool dark place, fridge or freezer and away from moisture.

With all my grey hair I'm always worried about how well colorants will stick. Until Henna Sooq. I get a gorgeous red on my darker hair and a vibrant orangey color on my grey.
I just wrote review and made a mistake about describing my grey hair :) My hair is not 70% grey it's 30-40% of grey
I used henna most of my life with interruptions (I am in 60 now). Last time I used like 3 years ago I mixed it with indigo and it did cover my grays( i have about 70%grey) but darken my natural hair and made greys burgundy red. I stop using it and decided to grow my grey out. At first I loved it but last fall I wanted a change and got highlights and temporary color matching my natural hair. My natural hair is very straight and probably 5 or 6, with red undertones. Blond highlights around my face looked nice and did brightened up my face. Problem was the hair loss even I did it in the salon. My hair also felt so dry, and the price was very high. So after 6 month growing I decided to use henna again. I bought henna and other hair care from Henna Sooq before and liked it but never tried Jamila henna. I used half of the Cassia pack mixed with 4 Tablespoons of Jamila mixed with warm distilled warm water, added 1Tbs Amla ,1 Tbs Aloe, left to sit for 3 hours, applied on wet hair letting it sit for 3 hours. Rinsed it out with water and Shikakai-Orange conditioner co-wash at the end to add extra moisture. When i was rinsing my hair felt so soft and not dry at all, even before i applied co-wash. The color turned out AMAZING. My hair looks the same color except highlights and grey. They look beautiful brass color, and it looks soooo good. Its been a week since I dyed my hair, I washed it 2 times with Henna Soog shampoo and coditioner, its super soft. I can' say Thank You enough for Henna Sooq for giving me what I wanted!
The powder was easy to mix and went smooth onto my hair like a regular hair dye. The color was vibrant and the hair did not dry up.
