Indulge yourself with our professional body art grade Moroccan henna powder freshly imported from Morocco's Western Sahara region. This powder is milled and sifted by hand by a woman's cooperative in Morocco that we work with. Often sought out, Moroccan henna powder is noted for its stringy like texture, quick dye release and ease of use with indigo for hair dyeing.
We love our Moroccan henna powder because:
- it has a fast dye release of only 1-2 hours for hair use
- blends well with indigo to create brown to black tones
- yields a copper-red hair tone when used as is
- easily washes out of hair
- will cover grey hairs
- strengthens hair strands
- conditions hair
- loosens curl pattern
- increases thickness of the hair
- protects your hair from the elements
- reduces split ends
- gets rid of dandruff
- creates beautiful deep copper henna body art stains (temporary tattoos)
Quantity 100 grams
(strongest color comes from the Spring crops)
This henna is much grainier than I'm used to, which makes the texture feel uncomfortable during application and hard to wash out. The color makes up for it though: I left the henna in for 3 hours and the color is rich and vibrant. After two subsequent washes there's no more red water coming off my hair either, and the random white hairs that are sprouting (already? I'm only 29!) are covered--although of course they are much more orange than the rest of my hair. Overall, I'm happy with this henna--which is good because I bought 5 bags!!
HS Reply: It's an amazing henna powder but yes it's true this batch was a little more grainy but this won't happen again. They have to hand sift all the powder and they didn't understand it had to be done more. We promise they understand now and we told them to sift it at least 4 times. Thank you, still, for leaving such a positive review. This henna is one of a kind for sure :)
I was so excited to use this. It was a little more difficult to get through my hair than I expected so next time I'll make it a little more runny. But it made my hair the most beautiful color of burnt orange. And it's so shiny and healthy feeling.
I have decided to quit coloring my hair with chemical dye due to fried hair and skin allergies. My hair is naturally strawberry blonde but is fading to white around my face. I used 3 parts Cassia to 1 part Moroccan Henna with chamomile tea and ACV. My hair turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so happy with it. It's bright and shiny and so healthy looking. Also, my once irritated scalp feels normal again. I highly recommend this brand! I will definitely be back - thank you!
I have used the morrocan henna and indigo 50/50 and after 2 weeks the grey around my hairline at the front turns a rust orange color while the rest of the greys in my hair are a marroon dark brown colour. Not sure if I am using it correctly but I followed the instructions to a T
HS Reply: Sometimes when it's just been 1 application alone, it can require at least 2-3 times to deepen and to hold. Also if your hair grows really fast this may be normal for you. You would have to do a touch up for roots and edges if your hair is growing that fast. Same recipe as well to maintain consistency. We hope this helps.
I am not impressed. I mixed it with the Indigo, I have dark brown hair. I followed site directions to a T and I still have gray roots.
HS Reply: We're so sorry to hear it didn't work out for you. If you reach out to us we'll definitely love to help you with getting your coloring treatment to work and cover those pesky greys.
