Although I had been doing DIY henna glosses for awhile, I decided to do a full strength Henna treatment for the first time but I was scared because of the drying effects it causes. It didn't end up as dry as I anticipated but I knew it wasn't at the level of moisture that I needed. I melted the Moroccan Clay Gloss bar, added some coconut milk, cupuacu butter, yogurt, and coconut oil. HOLY CRAP the moisture was on another level! My hair was defined, glossy, and gorgeous. It's like I never did a henna treatment, I repeat, the moisture is literally on another level. I saw that this gloss bar only had 3 stars so I had to come through and give it a boost because it deserves it. If you have kinky 4a-4c hair, this will be more suitable for your hair type. I absolutely LOVE this product and will order again. Thanks Henna Sooq!
Melted it and mixed in a little olive oil. Washed it out really well and followed up with some Camelia oil. My hair came out shiny and silky. Happy with this product
I followed the instructions, except I only used a quarter of the bar. I added coconut milk as was recommended. The instructions call for only rinsing out. However when I did that my hair was so greasy. So I washed it and once my hair dried it's still really greasy. Is my hair moisturized? Yes it is. However it looks really gross and greasy. I'm going to have to wash it again and see if it's still greasy.
HS reply: We're so sorry to hear you didn't enjoy our Moroccan Clay Gloss bar. It is a very enriching hair conditioning treatment and has two very heavy butters in it. The coconut milk is optional. If you found it too heavy then I would definitely recommend that this isn't the right product for you and need lighter moisturizing products. Probably more water-based ones as well.
