So for $18 a pop i didn't think that i could get the maximum use out of this for only 2 bags if i used this as a tea rinse. So i tried it infused in olive oil, pumpkin seed oil, some funky smelling neem oil and homemade infused fenugreek oil that had been steeping for over a year. Anyway, i need only a leave in and this oil infusion with this teabag and my grey edges turned back to a beautiful black again, my hair remains soft, i can manipulate it easy and it remains moisturized and seal. I know you need more then that to retain moisture but BABY, this is it. I have been using this for more then a year now and my hair is beautiful this was profound to add to my ayurvedic journey.
The packaging is horrible. Henna Sooq needs to rethink how they package their items for delivery. They crammed all of my items into a small box and placed my two teas at the top of the box. It’s no wonder they were smashed and the contents spilled all over everything. I’ll never know if this product was good or not because I couldn’t salvage it. Please consider selling this loose in a resealable package instead of in tea bags. $38 dollars( I ordered 2) wasted.
HS Reply: Oh no! We are so sorry to hear. Did you have a chance to let customer service know of the damages? Please send the team an email with the photo of the damages along with your order number so they can fix this for you. Thank you for letting us know.
The tea bags do not look as the display in the picture. I tried to use it with warm (not boiling/hot) water and the bag burst and I don't mean like a split at the top, it bursted open in the middle. Made such a mess on my countertop. I used what I could salvage. I ended up buying my own tea bags and will place henna and herbs in them. This was a wasted investment. I love Henna Sooq but this tea rinse was not friends with my money nor countertop nor shirt.
HS Reply: We're sorry to hear your bags did break open. We have a few videos on our youtube channel to show clients how to use them if this happens. It's a great blend of unique herbs from Morocco and if you are okay straining it, it's really beneficial. Please refer to our youtube videos for some ideas on that to get a better outcome with them.
I used one bag as an oil infusion with hemp seed oil and black seed oil. I have used this so far as a hot oil treatment and it was wonderful as this pre-poo. I used the other bag as a tea for my spray bottle. I will purchase again for sure.
This is the first product I tried from Henna Sooq and it is a rock star! I live the chai tea smell and it turned my limpy wimpy 2A hair strong, glossy, and luxurious. I've used henna based powders for years, but this really impressed me. I followed the advice for making a large batch of the tea rinse into ice cubes and it is super easy to apply. Thank you Henna Sooq! Much love to you all!
