You can make a hot water infusion with this herb, and other ayurvedic herbs such as shikakai, amla, brahmi, and others of your choice. Steep them for about 3-4 minutes, and then strain. Use the liquid as a hair rinse after you shampoo and/or condition your hair. Rinse it all out really well. This is best used directly in the shower as it can run. You can also leave this in if you wrap it tightly with a shower cap. Leave this in for about 30 minutes to an hour When using your favorite conditioner, you can make an ayurvedic herbal gloss. Apply this all over your hair, by sections and then place a shower cap on, or saran wrap. Leave this on for 30 minutes to an hour.
Prepare this herb as a paste (you can add any other ayurvedic herbs as you’d like), and use it in place of your shampoo. This paste cane be made with a tea brew, or just warm water. You can then wash it out, and then condition (deep, leave in conditioner depending on your hair type) afterwards.
Create an amazing hair oil infusion. You can add 2 parts of your favorite hair oils, to one part of herbs of your choice. Allow to steep naturally for at least 4-5 days or more depending on the herbs you use. Some herbs are tougher, and need more fusion time, such as horsetail. If you’d like to speed it up, and we use this method personally, is use a crock pot to allow the oil and herbs to steep at warm temperature for 24-36 hours. Then turn it off, and allow it to sit for another 24-36 hours. Strain in a nylon stocking. I let this actually hang, and slowly drip for the next 24 hours. The I squeeze what I can out afterwards (from out of the stocking). I then pour the oil infusion into an applicator bottle, or squeeze bottle. Keep this stored in a cool, dark place.
I already know bought this herb. I strayed away from the natural garden but this has been the number one herb product to reduce shedding. And my hair over sheds so this product is back on my self for good this time. And this is best brand I have bought so far
Henna Sooq never disappoints with amazing products with natural, efficient ingredients. I love all of the Herbal henna, conditioners and masks that can be created. My hair and heart thanks you deeply!
I use this in my henna treatments, along with amla, fenugreek, (unfortunately had to buy these from amazon since they were out of stock online) and hibiscus powder. Although I did not isolate this powder on its own to see how it performs so I can’t give it all the credit, but I am sure it has helped with my excessive hair shedding. I trust this brand and will be buying from here more often.
I've using this herb with warm water and it's simple awesome alone or mixed with other herbs as an oil elixir. In either method, it prevents tangles, flexibility and smoothness to my hair. This herb is all that ad more !
I love Henna Sooq's products like their Henna and Hibiscus powder, but Bhringraj is Hell in a powdered form. I had been mixing with ayurvedic herbs (henna, amla, shikakai, brahmi, rhassoul clay) for a couple of weeks with great results and I initially didn't want to say it was Bhringraj Powder. I thought maybe my scalp began to have an allergic reaction to the complete switch in hair care products. But as soon as I started incorporating Bhringraj into my regime, I noticed my scalp felt like there was perm left on it too long. My scalp was tingly for three weeks, luckily there were no abrasions to it (although it sure as heck felt that way). It didn't matter if I had it as a part of my deep conditioner or in an oil infusion. My scalp reacted even with a tiny amount of Bhringraj in my products. Not to mention whenever I washed out my hair, it was shedding so badly it scared me. One side of my head lost a lot of hair from this powder. Luckily I am the only one who can tell. With that said, I gave my oil infusion to my aunt, who absolutely loves it. I have 3 bags of Bhringraj Powder that I can't use so I'm pretty upset. Please make sure you do patch tests to ensure you don't have an allergic reaction to these herbs. If I ever see Bhringraj as an ingredient in ANYTHING, I'm running for the hills.
