I was very amazed on how moisturizing the Cleansing Conditioning CoWash - Rosemary, Tangerine and Clary Sage made my hair feel very soft and easy to comb after using my henna coloring treatments. Will keep in my rotation.
I love this cowash. It's cleansing, gentle and it smells really good. I use this right after using a henna treatment and my hair and scalp feels clean not and stripped at all.
Everything from this brand has worked very well with my hair and has left it strong and moisturized if used ad directed. I love all of the conditioning co washes so much that I just made an order of 6 to stock up. Try it, they’re really great quality.
I don't feel comfortable sending/posting photos online, so I will try to describe what happened after using the cowash. The :stripping" seemed to be around the hairline. I have 4C hair and it was the eek after using red raj and Indigo to create black tones. this was successful around the hairline where I had experience problems before with other brands. The next week (I wash my hair once a wee), I used the cowash and noticed the black color was fading slightly. the 2nd week, it wa very noticeable. I wil try the Shikaki powder to see if this is any better . I am a bit concerned though, that perhaps the henna/indigo application doesn't really hold well even after adding the salt as suggested. Anyway I will continue to try your products, as, overall they seem to be quite good.
HS Reply: We will definitely look into this as this is not usual for how this product behaves. If you do feel comfortable to send photos it'll be via email, not publicly online. We don't share photos and only use them for professional review and then delete them. Thank you again for your feedback.
Unfortunately, as much as the other products I purchased have proved to be amazing, I cannot say the same for the coWash. I used it twice and each time ti stripoed the henna from my hair. The second time was worse than the first. The ccowash in itself is very good and it made my hair soft, but because it stripped the color I won't buy it again. However, I will try the Shikaki powder and see if that's any better.
