Coconut oil tends to solidify when kept under cooler (cold) temperatures. The oil can be warmed up (gently) to return it to it's liquid form. Some clients of ours do like the oil in a more solid form. The choice will be up to you how you'd prefer your oil to be. Do not microwave.
Ingredients: Organic coconut oil, organic ginger, brahmi, bhringraj, organic henna, organic amla, methi, nagarmotha, organic neem, shikakai, organic hibiscus

This is my first order of Cocoveda Oil, I have been looking for an oil that would moisturize and hydrate my high porosity natural curly hair, I'm in love I just placed my second order the 16oz I moisturize my hair daily and seal with Cocoveda Hair Oil, this oil is very moisturizing completely absorbs in my hair strands non oily zero build up. LOVE LOVE LOVE
I want to like this oil. But despite it's long list of nourishing ingredients, it left my hair hard, dull and lifeless. I feel misled...
HS Reply: Thank you for your feedback and your honesty. There may be a chance that your hair doesn't like coconut oil. If you had results that ended up feeling this way it sounds like coconut oils may not be a good fit. Did you moisturize first while hair strands were damp and then seal with Cocoveda hair oil? There are a few tweaks and way it can be used for better results or it may be that coconut oil isn't a good fit for your hair. - KC
After my henna application I used the Sweet Honey Enriching Hair Nourisher. Once I rinsed it out, I applied the Cocoveda Hair Oil. It was a bit solic because of the temperature therefore I rubbed my finger on the top just to soften it a bit. I mistakenly used quite a bit however my hair and skin loved it. I now use it twice a week. I apply a cream leave in over it for extra softness and protection and I style. I am in love with all Henna Sook products but this one is a definite staple.
Hello, I recently purchased this oil and I have a few concerns. I have low porosity, dry and coarse hair and when I put this oil directly on my conditioned now soft wet hair, my hair feels like it loses the softness it achieved and feels somewhat rough. My hair also got frizzy when it dried. So I am not sure if this oil especially since it is coconut oil which has proteins in it is the reason why my hair felt different after using it. Please what are your suggestions? I really purchased this oil because of the herbs but the coconut oil I am not too sure of.
HS reply: It's possible Cocoveda Hair Oil might not be a good choice for you because it is a protein oil and sometimes it's more of a final step, to seal in moisture. You would wet your hair, moisturize with a hair oil such as our Argan oil or Jojoba or Camellia and then follow up with Cocoveda Hair Oil. We also have a Cocoveda Hair Masque, that may be an alternative even though it's not a leave in though. Or just use another hair oil if your hair doesn't like coconut oils. We hope this helps.
This hair oil is amazing and smells wonderful...like frosting! Great for the whole family. I love that it is full of herbs that will strengthen and help grow healthy hair. Use it on your scalp and hair.
