I have written a review on this product back in 2021. Bcuz I was having a lot of hair fall for several years, I just slowed down on detoxing. Thru research I discovered that my scalp was being starved of the nutrients it needed. Once that has was corrected, my hair is now soaring. Khadija products are the only products I use on my strands. Even when I was losing so much hair, Khadija's products still helped my strands. Last week I knew I needed a detox. It had been several months since I had done one. After using Khadija's co-washing products, I then use heavy butter creams to maintain moisture in my hair. I really had a lot of product build up on my hair. I also have a vinegar detox that I had used for years that I purchased from another company that sells natural hair products. Bcuz I know vinegar helps with the ph of the hair, I wanted to continue to use it. Khadija informed me that I could mix the two together. So of course that's what I did. As I stated earlier I used this mask (along with the vinegar detox) last week, and all I can say is, "what product build up?" My hair and scalp felt so clean. My scalp felt tingly. Hair was not dry. While in the shower I sprayed Khadija's hair tea to my scalp and hair, my hair drank it in. I also drenched my hair in aloe vera juice (fresh from aloe vera gel that I had blended earlier during the week) and my hair absorbed it. Wow, all the products just absorbed into my hair after the build up was removed. I will now do this every fifth wash day. I wash my hair each week. Khadija is very knowledgeable when it comes to her products. This mud mask is wonderful for my hair. Truly I haven't been disappointed in any of her products. Even though this product is rather expensive, it really does work. I try and catch her sale specials to restock what I need. I trust the quality of her hair products. Good job. Good company. She really does care about the quality of the hair products that she sells to her clients. That makes her number one in my hair journey.
I used this mask for the very first time today. I found it easy to apply to my hair. I followed the instructions without adding anything to the recipe. It rinsed out very well and left my hair feeling nice, well moisturized, and clean. I can’t wait to see what it’s like after it air dries.
"Zaida" (my fro) has been acting up lately, not cooperating with styling products I've been using. Moisture retention has become an issue as well. So, I decided to do a mud mask treatment. WOW!!! My curls are back and popping! So soft, so manageable, and now retain moisture longer than usual. Thank you HennaSooq for this amazing mud mask!!
Moroccan Hair Detox Mud Mask
Usually a DIY gal but enjoy Henna Sooq's premade masks (for those lazy days). First time trying her Rhassoul detox clay mask and love it. Did a great job at cleansing. Hair was also left soft with curls popping. Wasn't hard to rinse out either. Cowashed and styled afterwards with no residue left behind. Hair is a little past bra strap so used 3/4 of jar but will still repurchase. Can't wait to try the other Rhassoul clay masks. Hair description: very high porosity, fine, 3c/4a/4b
