How To

Prewash your hair with one of our Hair Washes or Shampoo Bars. Apply moderate amount onto your damp hair strands by sections, from root to ends of your hair (masque can be used on scalp). Once complete, wrap your hair in a shower cap or hair wrap. Leave in hair for 1-2 hours. For low porosity hair, you may use a heat cap or steamer for better penetration. Rinse our thoroughly using our Cleansing CoWash. Moisturize, dry and style as usual.

This product can be used every 2-3 weeks and in alternation with our Sweet Honey Hair Nourisher.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Patch test against allergies before use.

Multipurpose Mask

I used the Cocoveda Hair Masque to strengthen and condition my hair, and it worked better than most treatments I’ve tried. My 4b/4c hair felt softer, more defined, and easier to detangle. After one use, I noticed less breakage and more shine. The earthy scent was strong but faded once I rinsed it out. I get the best results when I use it weekly with gentle heat. I can’t say enough good things about the Cocoveda Hair Masque. This product is amazing! It changed my hair from dry, frizzy, and dull to soft, shiny, and healthy.

A few months ago, I stopped using it and thought other products would keep my hair looking good. That was a big mistake. My hair became dry again, started breaking, and lost its shine. I’m definitely seeing the downside of not using it.

I have coily 4 C hair, the Cocoveda masque helps soften my hair and keeps my hair moisturized for days. I also notice less breakage with this product, probably because my hair is less "crunchy, dry and brittle." I have tried store bought masque advertised as moisturizing but they do not work for my hair type. So I keep returning to this masque. I am very pleased with the result.
