Shikakai powder is known as the fruit of the hair and has been used to cleanse hair, promote hair growth, preventing dandruff and strengthening the hair from its roots to ends. It has a natural low pH, is extremely mild and has a moderate lather.

Mix your shikakai powder with warm to hot distilled water. It's recommend to add an ingredient that has slip such as a conditioner, aloe vera powder or fenugreek. Prewash your hair with our hair wash or shampoo bars. Apply onto hair and gently work into the shikakai paste into scalp and down along your hair strands. water and make a paste which is worked through the hair. Rinse out of your hair using our Cleansing CoWash. Optionally, you can use an ACV rinse as well. Do note some hair types may require balancing with our cleansing cowash or an ACV rinse. Moisturize, dry and style hair as usual.

Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after.
