How to use:

Place desired amount in bowl (about 1 tbsp for one facial application), and add very hot water so that it slightly covers your rhassoul clay. Let it absorb the water from about 5-10 minutes.

For a facial mask you can add rose water as well for anti-inflammatory properties.

Apply the paste onto your damp face and leave it for about 10 minutes. Keep the mud damp with a water spray or simply by applying little water with wet fingers. Rinse your face with warm water. Pat dry, and moisturize with one of our organic oils.

Naturally this the clay draws out excess oils and bacteria, leaving the skin feeling clean, refreshed and nourished. You can also use some rose water on cotton to tighten the pores.

Store any additional or leftover rhassoul clay in a cool, dark place or your fridge.

For hair you can mix the rhassoul clay the same as above, but with more liquid to make it more fluid. You can use this to cleanse and wash your hair directly in your shower. You can also try our Moroccan Clay shampoo bar.

Our Hair recipe: (the proportions of this recipe do depend on how much hair you have. Please adjust as desired)

-1 cup coconut milk, 1 tbsp honey, 1 tbsp marshmallow root, 1 tbsp cocoa powder, 2 tbsp rhassoul clay.

Mix all dry ingredients together, and add warm water until just thickened and absorbed. Allow rhassoul clay to absorb water really well so that it's smooth and creamy. Then add these ingredients slowly together with your liquids (honey, and coconut milk). Mix all of these ingredients very well. Optional, you can add other ayurvedic herbs to this recipe for added benefits). Apply onto your hair in the shower (as it may drip), and leave on for 5-10 minutes. Wash out thoroughly.

I used this clay as a hair mask - AMAZING! I was nervous at first because when I first put it in it made my hair very stiff. But after cowashing it out thoroughly, my hair was left SUPER soft and luscious and my curls were poppin all over the place! Highly suggest this one as a low porosity 4b/c hair type.

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a clay wash on my 4C hair, usually I use the Aztec bentonite clay.

I mixed this clay with some classic herbs (Amla, Brahmi and Hibiscus), along side some glycerin and essential oils, my hair turned out so gorgeous. My hair was detangled, cleansed, strong, soft and shiny. I would completely recommend it! I’m so glad that I’ve come across henna sooq products. My hair feels so healthy and I can see my hair retaining length! It’s been so long since my hair has grown at a rate that it’s growing/retaining now.

    Thank you Lisa x

When using the actual product it was great. Really defined my curls but the definition did not stay. However my hair was soft and felt nourished when using. I used the clay as a shampoo which I loved how it cleansed my hair without stripping it of its natural oils. The package is quite small and I only managed to obtain 2 uses from it. Would love for it to come in a bigger package.

I've been reading about clays for a while now, finally decided to take a leap in purchasing this product. Have not tried this one yet, I plan on using it soon...so, can write a worthy review.
