I dye release cassia with amla overnight and apply it to my roots for about five hours the next day. Lovely honey tones on my gray hairs and thick and healthy hair!
I bleached my 3c/4b waist length hair last year and decided to stop bleaching and let it grow out as I wanted my healthy hair back. My hair would "stick together" for lack of a better word due to the cuticles being so lifted due to bleach. I was already high porosity prior to the bleach so the bleach made things worse. It was so difficult to detangle even with loads of product because of the cuticle being lifted. ONE cassia gloss made all the difference. Once I rinsed out the gloss and let my hair semi air dry, I had no problem completing my go to protective goddess flat twists. Before, when trying to do the style, my hair would be so difficult trying to separate and twist due to the cuticle being lifted and I would often experience breakage doing while trying to do this protective style. Not after using a cassia gloss. I will continue to keep this in my house.
I have used Cassia (Senna italica) in the past which had an “earthy” odour and fine residue that took a few washes to get out. The first time trying Henna Sooq’s brand (Senna auriculata) which was different with no residual odour or residue. I mixed the Cassia with hot water, honey, olive oil and peppermint oil. I let it sit for 45 mins and left it in my hair for about an hour. I have greys but it did not give the wheat colour highlights (which I usually get with the S. italica. More than likely it was because of the short prep time and length of time on my hair). However, my hair feels soft, it usually helps with my dry scalp especially when it gets colder and it did not leave my hair too dry after application. Some of my curls always slightly loosen - I have fine hair. I will purchase from Henna Sooq again.
I have decided to quit coloring my hair with chemical dye due to fried hair and skin allergies. My hair is naturally strawberry blonde but is fading to white around my face. I used 3 parts Cassia to 1 part Moroccan Henna with chamomile tea and ACV. My hair turned out BEAUTIFUL!!! I am so happy with it. It's bright and shiny and so healthy looking. Also, my once irritated scalp feels normal again. I highly recommend this brand! I will definitely be back - thank you!
This is a new source for me and this Cassia is excellent.Very happy with the product and the service.
