Amla Deep Conditioning Hair Mask

This mask gave my 4c hair the slip that I have never received with other products I have purchased! It also made my curls pop!

On 6/06/25, I used Henna Sooq’s Amla Deep Conditioning Hair Mask for the first time with steam (20 minutes) and my results were amazing. My hair was SOFT/SILKY/SMOOTH. This deep conditioner did not disappoint my dry/menopausal type.

The ingredients in this deep conditioner are great, and my hair felt incredibly soft after I removed the plastic cap following an hour of use. The directions suggest rinsing the conditioner out with either a CoWash or water. I highly recommend using a CoWash afterward, especially if you plan to blow-dry and/or use other heat-styling tools. Rinsing with just water was not enough to fully remove the conditioner. After rinsing for 5-10 minutes, I could still feel the product in my hair, even though I used a small amount as instructed. For reference, I have 3C hair.

Despite the trial and error, I still believe it is a good product.

Since I do not CoWash, I plan to use the remainder of the product as a Pre-Poo hair treatment instead.

I really like this product. It keeps hair moisturized long after wash day. However, if you're used to more traditional hair masks you might accidentally use too much.

It melts easily and you don't need as much.

I just received this Amla mask today and used it today for wash day. It is bomb, absolute bomb. This is THE best my hair has felt in a long time. I'm literally on her now to purchase another one.
