2 stars because all the recipes in this course included several ingredients that did not come in the kit. I ended up having to spend a lot more money getting some of the stuff needed. Also the instructions weren't very specific so I think I did some stuff incorrect.
The only recipe needed to be done in this hair regimen plan is the massive amla hair growth mask but everything else was as is (used based on ingredients and products given in the package). Are you sure this is the right regimen plan and not the other one for Ayurvedic Method to Waist Length Hair?
I have always loved Ayurvedic hair care and when I was serious about it I saw improvements in my hair! However I had fallen off but I and am so happy that I have gotten back into the groove with Ayurveda with Henna Sooq by my side! I enjoyed this challenge. I didn’t get to do all of the weekly challenges but I did most and still stuck with an Ayurvedic hair regimen and I loved it. The products I love! I will continue to use. For me I want this to be a lifestyle change. My favorite products were the amla powder and the zizyphus hair wash!! Thank you!
I washed my hair with the Zizyphus Hair Wash. I found my hair to be very clean like I used a clarifying shampoo. It was squeaky clean. I then used the Cassia + Curls + Moisture Mask. My first pouch was very thick and my second was very runny. My hair is long (bra strap length & thick) I should have known that i would need 2 packs. I let the mask stay on for 3 hours because I was watching tv lol. I rinsed my hair thoroughly. The mask rinsed out very easily with no residue left in my hair or scalp. I did find that my curl pattern loosened. I'm not sure if my hair is a 2A, 2B, 2C or a 3A or 3B. I proceeded to used the Cleansing CoWash which I ABSOLUTELY LOVED😍. That soften my hair, restored moisture, and it made my hair easier to finger detangle. I left it on for about 15 minutes for I had to give my arms and shoulders a rest 😩. I styled my hair using the LOC method using the AYURVEDIC HAIR OIL. The oil is good, but I can't stand the smell. I have a really sensitive nose to certain herbs and spices, but I used it anyway. By the time I used my other products I couldn't smell the oil anymore.
I'm pleased overall with week one challenge.
The Ayurvedic Hair Strength and Growth Regimen did more than described. My hair never felt so soft and my styling time/product are down by half. I LOVE the copper color of my gray hair! That was a beautiful surprise. I am looking forward to my journey and my hair becoming stronger, longer and copper!
Absolutely gorgeous!!! We added your bonus points for your photo submission. Thank you
The first two weeks have been amazing with the touch, look, strength and bounce of my usually hard to handle hair. I would’ve never thought that my hair could look so healthy and moisturized with lasting results throughout the week. I’m loving this process! I’m so glad I joined this challenge.
