Soapnut Shampoo Bar

Just used this. I'm so grateful to have found it. It's hard to find Shampoo thats 100% free of coconut and derivatives of coconut.

I was nervous that it may be too stripping so I also purchased the Sweet Honey shampoo bar.

It wasn't stripping at all. And some how kinda felt a bit like a detangler - had nice slip.

I made sure my hair was soaked with water and started out in six sections.

It didn't lather very much. But I took my time and eventually it lathered really good on my Scalp and Hair.

I also did cut a peice of bar. Didn't use whole bar. I was able to do a second wash with the remainder section of bar I had used for the first wash.

The second wash was to make sure it was thoroughly clean. It suds really good om second round which showed me it was thoroughly clean.

This has become a staple Shampoo for sure. Looking forward to using the Sweet Honey.

And eventually trying some of the hair mask.

I liked how natural the soap is. I could smell and see the herbs in the soap. However, this soap did not produce a lather which made it extremely difficult to use. I am going to try warming up the soap to soften it or maybe making a paste from it to see if that makes it easier to use.

Nice and gentle to used all over the body

Surprisingly good for body and a second shampoo necessity, leaves hair smooth and scalp fresh, detangles with conditioner.

It really leaves your hair squeaky clean. And I would say after 10 minutes it feels a little moisturizing. But this bar cleans my hair better than any shampoo I’ve used I can’t stress the cleanliness.
