THE INSIDE SCOOP
Let's get this slip! This Ayurvedic herb prevents and controls hair loss, promotes hair growth, excellent moisturizing and conditioning agent thanks to its high levels of mucilages, anti-inflammatory, regulates the sebum production, gives volume and porosity to hair, leaves hair shiny and silky. Your hair will absolutely love the addition of this must have Ayurvedic herb.
How to Use
Note that fenugreek can expand quite quickly as you add your liquid. You may have to add additional liquid as needed, so we recommend you keep your eye on it over the mixing period (or at least 15-20 minutes). You may also want to strain the fenugreek if you want to avoid having little bits in your hair (fenugreek expands like cream of wheat).
Prewash your hair with one of our Hair Washes or Shampoo Bars. Mix fenugreek powder (about 10% of your whole hair mask recipe max) with full fat yogurt or other Ayurvedic herbs and/or a little warm to hot distilled water to make into a paste. Do note you may need to add more liquid as the fenugreek will expand. Apply the mixture to your hair from root to tip and gently massage it into your scalp. Leave the mask on for 1-2 hours for best results. Wash hair mask out using our Cleansing CoWash. Moisturize, style and dry as usual.
Massive Hair Growth Mask: Mix 50 grams of fenugreek powder (100 grams for up to shoulder length hair, adjust as needed) with 50 grams of cassia, 1 tsp of aloe vera powder, add 1-2 tbsp amla or ayurvedic hair oil and 6-7 drops of Moroccan rosemary essential oil. Allow this to rest 15-20 minutes and add more liquid as needed as it expands to keep the paste more of a yoghurt texture. Apply to your hair and leave in for 1-2 hours, wrapped up. Wash hair mask out using our Cleansing CoWash. Moisturize, style and dry as usual.
