I have about 20% gray, 2c-3a hair that only had salon dye for 15 years and, over a lot of stress the last 7, was starting to thin/fall out/break off. I did research into Ayurvedic hair care before taking the plunge and buying 3 of these bundles, a shampoo bar, and rosemary oil last summer, wondering if I should take a before picture but half a year later I wish I did! My hair's volume is steadily coming back to my high school days and you can no longer see my scalp, which is now healthy! I didn't even know it was unhealthy prior to starting this journey. Hair fall is also extremely minimal these days, which has never happened to me in my life, I can't wait to see how it'll all look in a few years. But for now I can finally wear my hair down again.
Also, side note, I tried cheaper henna a few days ago (the 50 cent packs at the bottom of the shelf lmaoo, I'm on vacation) which is why I'm back here, and writing a review :)
Henna Hair Dye Bundle
I love the bundle
Henna Sooq's products worked exactly as intended and helped clear out my stubborn grey hairs! I will definitely be purchasing more of her products long-term. Thank you Henna Sooq!
I used the Red Raj/Aloe Vera/Alma powder combination and did not add indigo because I wanted to see what the true color is the Red Raj was. I made the mix & let it set overnight & applied the following day for 5 hours. The color was a bit bright but it started to deepen a little (now 2 days later). I’m waiting to see if it will deepen more over the week. The mixture was very easy to apply with an application bottle with minimal mess/flaking. The only thing I didn’t care for was how dry my hair felt after I washed the henna out & even the next day. I applied a little organic coconut oil on the day of & an olive oil growth hair mixture I have. We’ll see if it will soften in the following days. Maybe next time I’ll shampoo & condition before I apply the henna to see if that makes a difference in terms of my hair being it’s natural soft texture. And I’ll try the indigo as well to see if I can deepen the color. I’m excited to try the different mixes to see which ones give me the best results I’m looking for. 😊
