Happy National Relaxation Day! Today is a day dedicated to taking a break from the stresses of daily life and focusing on activities that promote relaxation, self-care, and mental well-being (which we are all about here at Henna Sooq!). 
 
The day serves as a reminder to prioritize our mental and physical health and engage in activities that help us unwind and recharge. Below are a few of our favorite products to do just that, but ANY of our products are about self care and relaxation! 
 
Take some time off, girl!

Follow these steps on your next hair wash day.
  • Sage your space
  • Light your favorite candle or incense
  • Prepare your hair by washing your hair
  • Make sure to breath and inhale all the natural scents being used during each step
  • Occassionaly take a moment to close your eyes
  • Use your products and treatment
  • While using your products be sure to give your hair a gentle massage (without over manipulating your hair strands)
  • Rinse really well and thoroughly
  • Use moisturizing leave ins and moisturizing treatments to fully hydrate and lock in moisture
  • Sit and mediate (or self reflect in silence) for 5-10 minutes before continuing on with your day
