The CoWash that everyone is raving about! Our CoWash uses shikakai to naturally cleanse the hair rather than chemical based cleansing ingredients. It's also restorative and hydrating which is a must use after a henna hair coloring and Ayurvedic hair treatment that also won't strip the benefits from your hair after use.

Our formula is vegan, soy-free, non-GMO, gluten-free, paraben-free, mineral oil free.

How To

Ideally use our CoWash after a henna hair coloring or Ayurvedic hair care treatment or mask. If your hair is very dry you can use this to prewash your hair as well over a shampoo then used again after your coloring, treatment or mask.

On damp hair apply to the scalp and throughout to the ends of hair. Gently massage throughout the hair to cleanse the hair. Can be left in the hair up to 5-10 minutes to further hydrate hair. Rinse out, moisturize, dry, and style as usual. Can be used daily.

For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.

I luv how this makes my scale feel like CLEAN CLEAN

No lather

smells great, but theres no lather. Im not sure if its because of the henna but it was hard to wash my hair with this efficiently because I wasn’t able to tell where my hair still needed the cowash.

Hello. Thank you for your feedback. Our Cleansing CoWashes are not supposed to lather. They are a conditioner primarily and shikakai is the cleansing part of this formulation. Our CoWashes are not like other cowashes on the market typically as ours is based on Ayurvedic herbs and in this case the shikakai. How it is meant to be used and how it is in the salon as well, is we use our shampoo bars or hair washes to cleanse the hair, then do a treatment or color, and then last lastly use the Cleansing CoWash.
