How To
How to use Hibiscus in Your Hair Care Recipes In Henna Hair Dye Use at least 3-4 tbsp of hibiscus petal powder to your henna recipe per 100 grams to boost red tones. Mix your henna recipe as usual. Use 6 tbsp of hibiscus petal powder, 2 tbsp honey, 3 tbsp aloe vera powder, 2 tbsp yoghurt and just enough coconut milk (or water) to thicken your ingredients. Mix ingredients so that it is the consistency of a thick pancake batter (similar to a henna recipe). Prewash your hair with our hair wash or shampoo bars. Apply onto damp hair strands and leave on for 1-2 hours. Rinse out with our cleansing cowash, moisturize, dry and style as usual.

I used the powder mixed with the raj henna and the result on my previously colored hair was a nice red cooper color!
I suppose the results might vary depending on what base color you have or if it has been colored before. Anyways I like the color and how it covered my grey hairs.
Used this powder in conjunction with the Red Raj henna & there was no color difference whatsoever in my hair color; not one hint of red. Disappointed.
Thank you for your review. Dote note hibiscus can only give a boost in red tones. Sometimes it's not very strong as the henna itself is the strongest herb for red tints. If your hair is very dark or black, you may see even less red. This is normal and to be expected, if this applies to you. Henna is a translucent dye and only deposits.
I love the hibiscus for hair growth
I absolutely love this hibiscus powder. I always add it to my red red henna treatments and it definitely intensifies the red and repairs my hair.
