Red Raj Henna: lawsonia inermis (henna)* organic ingredient
How To
Henna hair dyeing treatments should be repeated every 4-6 weeks or root touch ups as needed in between colorings. Henna can be used to create a gloss or conditioning mask treatment that can be done every 2-3 weeks. Henna might loosen your curl pattern, should this apply. You can add amla or zizyphus powder as treatments to enhance and maintain curls and volume. We highly recommend that aloe vera powder is added or one of our hair oils to your henna recipe for added moisture as henna can be drying without. Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after. Henna can also loosen the curl pattern. Be sure to use amla or zizyphus powders or masks to maintain curl pattern.
Directions: Mix henna with warm to hot distilled water and allow to sit 3-4 hours for dye release. Prewash your hair with one of our hair washes or shampoo bars. Apply onto damp hair strands and allow to remain in your hair for 3-4 hours for a full color treatment and to cover grey hairs. When doing a henna hair strengthening mask leave in hair 1-2 hours. Use a heat cap if you would like to cut the time it stays in your hair in half. Rinse out with our cleansing cowash then moisturize, dry and style as usual for best results.
Storage: We recommend you store henna in a cool dark place, fridge or freezer and away from moisture.

Red Raj Henna Hair Dye
I was a henna head for many years. During the pandemic, I gave up henna and returned to my natural color. For the record, it's a lovely dark cocoa brown with between 10 and 15% gray.
I hennaed my hair with Raj Red about six or eight weeks ago. It made my hair, which is naturally baby-fine and almost straight, look as if I used a flat iron. It's blindingly shiny and super silky. And it seems significantly thicker. In fact, my husband said, "I like how thick your hair looks!"
Now, let's talk color... I've used several varieties of henna and Red Raj is the closest to a "cool red." It skews slightly wine or burgundy.
Raj Red also covered my grays 100%.
Great product!
The color was so much more vibrant than expected. Hair texture afterwards was better than with box dies.
I have been using henna on my hair since 2019. I have some chronic health issues and I wanted to stay away from chemicals. I have also been a customer of Henna Sooq for years. I recently made the mistake of buying henna from Amazon because I was in a hurry to do my hair. BIG MISTAKE!! I immediately felt regret for cheating on Henna Sooq. The competitors henna was of poor quality and stained my hair very little and washed out in no time. I immediately got online and ordered from Henna Sooq. I ordered their Red Raj and Cassia, and as always it dyed my hair beautifully!! And I received it super fast!! I will never, ever buy from anyone else other than Henna Sooq. The quality of products they provide is unbeatable!! It is superior to all others!! I get so many compliments on my hair and people ask if it is my natural color 😍 My hair is so healthy and shiny!! Thank you so much Henna Sooq! You saved me! 🤗
