Henna Shampoo Bar

This is great !! This keeps my hair in good condition between Henna applications. It makes my hair feel like it does right after I Henna. It coats my fine hair and I helps to hold my waves. Then my hair can hold the style and I just refresh my hair in the morning by wetting my hands and taming the fly away hair a little.

I love, love, love Red Raj henna, and this bar could possibly allow me more time between treatments--so much more convenient...

I wanted SO much to love this bar... but alas, I am sensitive to the scent of lavender essential oils, so couldn't try it. :(

I guess the essential oil bliss blend they use is different than the one I knew of which doesn't include lavender. I knew of my mistake right away when I received it. If they ever make a Red Raj henna shampoo/conditioner without lavender, I will definitely get it to try.

HS Reply: We're so sorry to hear that the essential oil wasn't to your liking. Our Red Raj bliss blend has always container lavender. We'll definitely consider another blend for our henna-poo bar. It sounds like a great idea! -KC

I basically ordered every shampoo/body bar off the henna sooq website lol. I do like this one, i mainly ordered it for a color boost in between henna dyes since the red raj is infused. Not sure if it actually helps with the color but i like it. Ingredients are awesome.

I bought this bar because I am trying to incorporate henna in my regimen as often as possible. I cut probably 1/8 of the bar off to use and I still had more left. I would say I could probably get about 12-14 washes out of this bar. That’s awesome for the price! The texture was very soft and easy to cut but but not crumbly. I sectioned my hair into 6 braids and washed each section with the small piece of the bar, in circular motions on my hair and scalp. The more you use the more it lathers. I left the product in those sections while doing the rest of my shower stuff to get the maximum benefits of the henna, and even so, my hair did not feel dried out and stripped when I rinsed it. My hair felt supper soft and moisturized but clean at the same time. I don’t think I’ll use a regular shampoo again. Loved it!

I wash my hair with this about once a week and love it! It doesn’t get my scalp as clean as the Cassia Neem Wash, but I use it on a wash day right before that one, and my hair still gets very clean, but feels stronger and thicker in a different way than the Cassia Neem Wash I win in the same sweet giveaway from Khadija. I like it better than any of the shampoo bars I have bought from her or any other company! My hair is so shiny, and it really lathers well and feels so nice while washing, too!
