How To
There are several ways you can use Shea Butter. Deep Conditioning Treatment Gently, and slowly melt your organic shea butter in a pot on your stovetop, or use a crock pot. Use the melted cocoa butter in your henna and Ayurvedic hair recipes. Mix well until it blends and add warm water if needed. You can then apply this hair mask to your freshly washed hair and leave it in your hair for 1-2 hours. Wash out throughly with warm water and/or with one of our Cleansing CoWashes. It is a heavy moisturizing treatment so extra shampooing may be needed. Ideally deep conditioning with shea butter is for dry to very dry hair when moisture and conditioning is needed. Whip your Shea Butter Soften your organic shea butter in the microwave for 10-15 seconds, or by placing it in a bowl and then floating it in a bowl of hot water. Using your softly melted shea butter (not liquid but softened only), add hair oils of your choice (olive oil, grape seed, golden jojoba, organic camellia, and argan serum, are amongst the best hair oils to use), and a choice of essential oils (such as our sweet orange, tea tree, lemongrass, rosemary, lavender, and clary sage are the best choices for added hair benefits). For every 1 ounce of shea butter, you can add 1 tsp tsp of hair oils, and about 2-3 drops of essential oils. Then blend all of the above with a hand blender thoroughly for 4-5 minutes or as desired. The more you blend/whip your shea butter recipe the more air your butter will get into it, making it more fluffy. Store in a cool, dark place such as your fridge. As a Foot Treatment Use your organic shea butter, and rub a thick layer all over your feet, including soles. Cover with a sock, and sleep with a this treatment on overnight. In the morning, remove your socks, and shower as usual to remove excess butter. Heals cracked feet, and leaves feet feeling refreshed, nourished, and silky soft. Dry Skin Spots Use raw to apply a thick layer on dry, and raw skin areas. Allow to deeply penetrate, and leave on either all day, if comfortable for you, or as a deep overnight treatment. Hair Sealant Using melted liquid organic shea butter, apply onto your hair as a leave in moisturizer. If this is too heavy for your hair, you can also just treat the dry, damaged areas, and ends of your hair. Use to seal, and hold your protective hair styles. Ideally mixing with other oils makes it easier to apply and use. Soothing Scalp Treatment Organic shea butter will soothe, and heal irritated and inflamed scalp conditions. Place cocoa butter on the scalp and leave it on overnight. Wash it out the next day and continue with your regular hair regimen and routine. For general use on skin, take a small amount of shea butter and place it your palm and rub it on your skin. The warmth from your hands will spread the butter all over, and deeply moisturize. Warning: During high heat (such as summer months), your cocoa butter might melt. No replacements and no refunds will be issued due to melting. Please consider ordering during cool months.

I’ve never tried Pure Raw Shea Butter before and so far my hair is loving it! I put it in my conditioner and my hair just melts! Yes I will buy this again!
It’s too early. I haven’t seen any changes with my hair hope, I will be soon.
The shea butter was so smooth with no smell one of the finest shea butters I have ever bought!

I've long understood the benefits of unrefined shea butter for skin and haircare but refrained from using it as I'm very sensitive to smell and HATE the typical smoky / nutty scent that comes with it. I'm so, SO glad that I decided to give this brand a try after other reviewers commented that this one lacks that smell - this stuff is fantastic! I've tried many other brands / sources but always ended up giving them away because I couldn't tolerate the smell. I only hope there will be an option to buy larger portions in the future!
