How To
The protective style method: Warning: For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes. Always test all henna, herbs and products on your skin/scalp before use for possible allergies. Henna and Ayurvedic herbs can be drying to some hair types. Be sure to add necessary moisturizing ingredients to your hair treatments before and after. Henna can also loosen the curl pattern. Be sure to use amla or zizyphus powders or masks to maintain curl pattern.
Take ½ cup of your favorite conditioner(s) and mix with ½ cup of our hair oils and blend really well (or enough for your hair length and thickness). Place 2-3 teaspoon of chébé powder on the side (or as needed). The conditioner/oil mix is not combined with chebe powder at any time. The first step is to get the hair wet using distilled water or hair tea (or freshly washed) water. Detangle your hair. Using gloves, apply to your hair by alternating between the hair conditioning mix that you just made and the chébé powder mix until the hair is fully saturated. Then braid your hair.
Optionally you may want to apply extra chebe to your ends to seal. Do not apply to your scalp. When the braids are done, wet your hair again with water or hair tea. Allow to dry. Cover and wrap your hair. If your braids are secure, you can wrap your hair with a scarf or stylish cap (even cover with a wig if desired). This will be left in 3-5 days.
After 3-5 days have passed, remove any dust or particles from your braids. Refresh with water or hair tea. Using gloves, reapply the conditioner/oil mix you made. Apply chebe powder over the hair. Rotate between those two steps until braid is fully coated. Then 2-3 days later, you can take your braids and wash as usual (or prepoo). Repeat chebe treatments every 6-8 weeks.
The mask/treatment method: Mix equal amounts of your favorite conditioner and one of our hair oils and add in 1 tsp of chebe and 3-4 tsp of your favorite Ayurvedic herbs (make sure 1 or 2 of them is fenugreek, aloe or hibiscus for moisture). Mix well. Apply onto the hair strands by sections (avoiding the scalp). Leave in the hair 1-2 hours or use a heat cap to cut the time in half. Then rinse out using our cleansing cowash. Moisture, dry and style as usual.

I trust Henna Sooq products. However, I never had bought Chebe from them until now. I am glad that I did! The product was very good quality.
I’ve been with Henna sooq since her humble start and she has never failed me. I’ve heard about Chebe for an extremely long time but was quite reluctant as not all Chebe is the same. When she introduced her powder I was ecstatic because I knew it’d be good. All her products are honest and reliably sourced. She does her research for sure.
With consistent application this Chebe really works. It is wonderfully sifted and goes on smoothly. I ordered a second bag so I’m prepared when the first runs out. Your hair WILL grow as long as you are consistent. (Application every 3-5 days time permitting). My hair is growing like crazy especially after a brutal setback.
Khadija, thank you for your purity and honesty seriously! This hair game can be treacherous. But I’m never disappointed with your goodies. Thank you!

I live in a dry climate and am always looking for moisturizing/conditioning products. Before purchasing, I tried to research and find out how this would work for caucasian hair. (I am mentioning this because others have specifically asked me about this.) I couldn't really find any information, so I just decided to try it.
After one use, I was hooked. I mixed it with fenugreek and hibiscus and left it on for two hours. My hair felt so soft and conditioned. I will definitely repurchase this product.
The past 3 months I’ve seen dryness and breakage. Not sure where it’s coming from. But tried Henna Sooq chebe, doing a total of 9 days with product in the hair. I followed carefully the instructions on the package and refreshed the oil and chebe after 4 days, twice. My oils were jbco, olive oil, (with some rosemary and lavender essential oils added). Rocked a head covering to work, looked gorgeous :) I rinsed out on 8/7/21. I’m not an expert on what it does to the hair but what I see it doing to my hair it seems to be helping it use oils better, penetrate. The dryness seems to have stopped. I washed and twisted it after, getting the chebe out of the hair was a nightmare for me. The granules also got in one eye while I was asleep because i sleep wild and the bag I was wearing didn’t stay secure. That was bothersome. But the twists are the best I’ve ever seen with my hair, moisturized and they’re actually shining. I was hoping I wouldnt have to be bothered w chebe again!! lol because it’s so labor intensive and messy. But there’s NO way I can’t do this again. My hair seems to love it. Jury is out on what the hair will do in the coming weeks before I do the next chebe application. But so far it’s fantastic.
