I wish I had thought about using ayurvedic products on my hair sooner. chemical dyes have been thinning & drying my hair so badly. I used the henna/indigo to color my hair for the first time last week. Was it time consuming? Yes! But it was SO worth the effort. It was as if my hair was screaming at me, thank you, thank you, thank you. My hair felt soft, it was shining like never before and the colour I wanted, was achieved through the 2-step process 50/50 henna & indigo and then indigo on its own. A beautiful dark rich brown was attained. I did put a heat cap on for some of the time to reduce the amount of time with the henna dye/indigo on my hair. Truly, it was not an inconvenience. It felt cooling on the scalp and nourishing for the scalp. I had my hair wrapped well and got on with other things. A week later, my hair is still shining, full, with bouncy curls. I did my usual weekly hot oiling treatment 2 days ago, before washing my hair and the color still looks great. I was so impressed that I ordered a few packets of henna and indigo in the black Friday sale. The 1 box of chemical dye I had left in the bathroom, is now in the bin. Thank you, Henna Sooq. I sincerely wish I had found your site/information/products, years earlier. I cannot urge people enough to ditch the chemicals and go for henna!
